TruTix Terms & Conditions

1. About TruTix

TruTix is a platform designed to help people buy and sell tickets with greater confidence. TruTix is not the event organizer, venue, or original ticket issuer.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use TruTix.

You agree to provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Buying Tickets

Buyers are responsible for reviewing ticket listings, event details, seat information, and prices before purchasing.

You agree to provide accurate payment and ticket-transfer information and pay the ticket price and any disclosed fees.

4. Selling Tickets

Sellers must:

• Have the legal right to sell the tickets.

• Provide accurate event, seat, and ticket information.

• Not list tickets that have already been sold, transferred, or are invalid.

• Complete ticket transfers using the required process.

• Cooperate with reasonable requests involving disputes.

Fraudulent, counterfeit, or unauthorized listings are prohibited.

5. Fees and Payments

TruTix may charge buyers and sellers transaction fees. Applicable fees will be disclosed before a transaction is completed.

TruTix intends to use Stripe for payment processing and seller payouts. Payments and payouts are subject to applicable payment processor agreements and requirements.

TruTix does not promise escrow services or guaranteed refunds unless those services are expressly provided through the platform.

6. Ticket Transfers and Delivery

Sellers are responsible for completing ticket transfers using an authorized transfer method. Buyers are responsible for providing accurate information needed to receive tickets.

TruTix cannot guarantee that an event organizer or ticket issuer will permit every transfer or guarantee admission to an event.

7. Disputes, Refunds, and Cancellations

If tickets are not delivered, are materially different from the listing, or appear invalid, buyers should contact support@tru-tix.com promptly.

TruTix may request information or evidence from buyers and sellers and review disputes individually. Refunds or other resolutions depend on the circumstances, available evidence, and applicable payment rules. Refunds are not automatic.

Event cancellations and postponements are subject to the event organizer's policies and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

• Commit fraud or misrepresent tickets.

• Use TruTix for illegal activity.

• Harass or threaten other users.

• Attempt to bypass platform fees.

• Interfere with the security or operation of TruTix.

9. Account Suspension

TruTix may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create security risks, or engage in fraudulent activity.

10. Third-Party Services

TruTix may rely on third-party services, including payment processors and ticket-transfer services. Those services may have their own terms and policies.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

TruTix is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TruTix's liability will be limited to the greater of the fees you paid to TruTix during the previous 12 months or $100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such a limitation is prohibited by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as TruTix develops. Updated versions will be posted on this page.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, subject to applicable law.
